Compliance Applications
- Click Apps > Automated Test Apps on FlexDCA's menu to start available compliance applications.
DCA-X compliance applications add significant measurement capability to your oscilloscope. Compliance applications install on either the DCA-X or on a PC and use a common user interface. Compliance applications directly control FlexDCA which, in turn, controls a DCA-X or DCA-M oscilloscope.
The FlexDCA applications covered in this topic require a license that is managed and listed in the Keysight License Manager which is an application that is installed on the PC.
The stand-alone compliance applications help you by:
- Saving time in understanding details of standards
- Reducing the time it takes to characterize your designs from hours to minutes.
- Test your device to compliance or chosen limits
- Helping debug your device using custom configurations
- Generating HTML reports that summarize the performance of your device
Compliance applications have the same look-and-feel as the compliance applications for Keysight's real-time oscilloscopes. Once you become familiar with one application, you can quickly learn any of the other real-time or sampling (DCA-X) oscilloscope applications.
Do not confuse compliance applications with DCA-X options and licenses. Options also add measurement capability, but are not stand-alone PC applications.
