FlexEye Test Setups

As you can see in the following pictures, the DCA-M series modules allow you to perform measurements on multiple channels (DUTs) while using an inexpensive PC or a DCA-X. Of the following two example test setups, the FlexDCA and DCA-M on PC drawing is more typical. All modules as well as any DCA-X must use a shared common clock.

The program can be running on the PC with FlexDCA. The DCA-M and FlexDCA must be installed on the same PC/Controller.	The DCA-M must be connected to the DCA-X and cannot be connected to the PC. FlexDCA cannot be installed on the PC controlling FlexDCA on the DCA-X (Flex-on-Flex) as the DCA-M would not be accessible.

The following table shows examples of the maximum number of DUTs you can test using specific hardware.

As shown in the following picture, using four N1092Ds supports a maximum of 15 DUTs instead of an expected 16 DUTs. This is because one VISA address must be reserved for FlexDCA's primary address.
