DJ (δ-δ) Result
The Jitter mode Deterministic Jitter (DJ) measurement is data-related jitter. DJ is the combined effects of the Data Dependent Jitter (DDJ) and Periodic Jitter (PJ) or Bounded Uncorrelated Jitter (BUJ). Deterministic Jitter is bounded, meaning that measured values do not increase with longer measurement times. In Jitter Mode, the aggregate deterministic jitter is derived from the Total Jitter Histogram graph. This histogram is the probability density function of all of the measured correlated and uncorrelated jitter. The (δ-δ) measurement label refers to the dual-Dirac delta model used to derive the measurement.
If Advanced Eye Analysis (option 401) is installed, you can measure DJ on patterns longer than PRBS16, such as PRBS31, using Advanced Eye Analysis.
