Eye Skew Result

Meas. mode:
Jitter
Waveform type:
PAM4

The Jitter mode's PAM4 Eye Skew measurement measures the skew of each eye and places the three results in the Eye results table. The width of each of the three eye's histograms is measured at the Probability/SER setting in the Advanced tab of the Jitter Mode Measurement Setup dialog. The center of each eye is based on the Jitter Sampling Level setting in the Thresholds tab Jitter Mode Measurement Setup dialog. The average time of the eye centers is computed and the skew of each eye from the average is shown as the measurement result.

You can measure Eye Width on patterns longer than PRBS16, such as PRBS31, using Advanced Eye Analysis.
