:CMODe:STATus
Query Syntax
:CMODe{1:8}{A|C}:STATus?
Where the required specifier {1:8}{A|C}
identifies the common-mode channel by its module slot and channel letter. For example, the common-mode waveform of channels 1A and 1B would be identified as 1A
.
The channel specifier will fail if it does not include a slot number. If instead the suffix's channel letter is missing, the command defaults to letter A
. As a result, the best practice is to always explicitly specify the channel by including both the module slot number and channel letter.
Query Response
{AVA | UNAV}
Description
Queries the availability of a common-mode waveform for use. A common-mode waveform becomes available (AVA
) when the following is true:
- An associated multi-channel module is installed or extended module is configured, and
- The common-mode channel is selected in the Channel Setup dialog (Use the
:TDR:STIMulus:CHANnel:TYPe
command).
Available common-mode channels are shown in the Signals Palette. An available common-mode channel's waveform may or may not be displayed. A common-mode channel is unavailable (UNAV
) if the common-mode channel is not selected in the Channel Setup dialog.
Use the :CMODe:DISPlay
command query to determine if a channel waveform is displayed.
Requires TDR/TDT mode. Requires FlexDCA revision A.04.00 and above.
