Where the {1:64} specifier identifies one of sixty four math functions that you can create. For example, :FUNCtion2.

Query Syntax

:FUNCtion{1:64}:PATTern:FILE:GCODe?

Description

Turns gray coding on or off for PAM4 waveforms, when the :FUNCtion:PATTern:MODE command has specified that the Pattern Symbol Sequence be set by importing a BERT pattern file instead of using autodetection. Be sure to use the :FUNCtion:PATTern:FORMat command first to specify a PAM4 formatted waveform.

Gray coding, or reflected binary code, is a coding pattern where successive symbols differ by one binary bit. For example in the case of PAM4, binary bit sequences 00, 01,10, and 11 represent levels 0, 1, 2, and 3.

This command can be used with the following Signal Processing functions:

Requires FlexDCA revision A.07.40 or greater.
