Command Syntax
:FUNCtion{1:64}:PATTern <pattern>
Where the {1:64} specifier identifies one of sixty four math functions that you can create. For example, :FUNCtion2
.
Where argument <pattern> listed in the following table selects the indicated pattern symbol sequence.

Description
Specifies a known specific waveform Pattern Symbol Sequence to the equalizer function when the :FUNCtion:PATTern:MODE
command has specified a known pattern instead of autodetection. The arguments used to specify the pattern is listed in the following table.
To specify the waveform's format (NRZ or PAM4), use the :FUNCtion:PATTern:FORMat
command.
This command can be used with the following Signal Processing functions:
- Reference Rx
- Decision Feedback Equalizer
- Linear Feed Forward Equalizer
- TDECQ Reference Equalizer
- Pulse Fit Filter
