Command Syntax

:MEASure:TDEC:MNFactor  <noise_factor>

<noise_factor> is a double.

Query Syntax

:MEASure:TDEC:MNFactor?

Description

Enters the modal noise factor for the TDEC measurement (:MEASure:EYE:TDEC command). This factor represents the modal noise contributed by the fiber-optic link that is connected to the output of the optical transmitter DUT. The default setting is 1.75 x 10−2. The range of values can be from 1 x 10−6 to 5 x 10−1. This command is equivalent to the Modal Noise Factor setting which is located in the TDEC tab of the Configure Measurements dialog.
