The following limit-line queries allow you to return information on failed datapoints for limit lines. Limit lines are defined in ASCII files and are loaded and displayed using the :LLINe subsystem.

The following drawing shows two limit lines, with each limit line being defined in a separate file. Each limit line in this picture defines four points which results in three lines numbered from left to right. Limit line 1 is an upper (maximum) limit line where any data points above that the limit line results in a failed point. Limit line 2 is an lower (minimum) limit line where any data points below the limit line results in a failed point. Failed data points are shown in the color red. The failed-points margin is defined to be the largest excursion of all failed points into the fail region for a given limit line or individual line within a limit line. The margin is returned in the current amplitude units, with positive values returned for maximum limit lines and negative values for minimum limit lines. The time location of failed points margins can be queried.
