Command Syntax

:SPRocessN:RANDom:NOISe:RMS <noise magnitude>

<noise magnitude> is a double.

Where N identifies one of up to 64 possible operators {1:64} that can be defined as part of a math function. The operators are numbered in the order that they were originally added to the function.

Query Syntax

:SPRocessN:RANDom:NOISe:RMS?

Description

Specifies the amount of random noise, in volts or Watts, applied by a Random operator (:FUNCtion:FOPerator RANDom). Use this command when the random noise spectrum is set to:

• White noise (:SPRocess:RANDom:NOISe:SPECtrum), or
• Bandwidth limited noise (:SPRocess:RANDom:NOISe:SPECtrum) when the units are set to RMS (:SPRocess:RANDom:NOISe:UNITs).
