Use this command:

Random Commands

Command Syntax

:SPRocessN:RANDom:NOISe:RMS <noise magnitude>

<noise magnitude> is a double.

Where N identifies one of up to 64 possible operators {1:64} that can be defined as part of a math function. The operators are numbered in the order that they were originally added to the function.

Query Syntax

:SPRocessN:RANDom:NOISe:RMS?

Description

Specifies the amount of random noise, in volts or Watts, applied by a Random operator. Use this command when the random noise spectrum is set to White noise (:SPRocess:RANDom:NOISe:SPECtrum) or Bandwidth limited noise (:SPRocess:RANDom:NOISe:SPECtrum) when the units are set to RMS (:SPRocess:RANDom:NOISe:UNITs).

Requires FlexDCA revision A.06.60 and above.

This command is equivalent to (but replaces) deprecated command :SPROcess:RANDom:NOISe.
