The Virtual Front Panel provides equivalent buttons for some of the DCA-X front-panel keys. The virtual front panel is also available on N1010A FlexDCA on a PC. This panel is not docked and can be moved to any location on the screen. With the exception of the Multi-Purpose, Local, and Marker RPG buttons, all of these functions can be accessed using commands on the FlexDCA's menu bar. When remotely controlling a DCA-X, you can use the Local button to disconnect from the instrument.

Click Tools > Virtual Front Panel to hide or display the virtual front panel.

If you click the Apps button on the Virtual Front Panel, the Applications panel appears. Use this panel to start applications and open files. This panel contains the same items that are available on the Apps menu.
