:SYSTem:AUToscale:HORizontal
Command Syntax
:SYSTem:AUToscale:HORizontal
Description
Automatically scale the display's vertical axis for the displayed waveforms. To scale the display's vertical axis, use the :SYSTem:AUToscale:VERTical
command. To scale both axis, use the :SYSTem:AUToscale
parent command.
There is no query form of this command. If the Auto Scale is unsuccessful, one or more errors are placed in the last-in first-out error-message buffer. Use the :SYSTem:ERRor:NEXT?
and :SYSTem:ERRor:COUNT?
queries to determine if an error has occured and the cause of any errors. The following errors can be reported:
- 143, "Instrument Error;Autoscale: No valid sources are turned on."
- 144, "Instrument Error;Autoscale: Could not detect data rate."
- 144, "Instrument Error;Autoscale: Unable to detect reference clock frequency."
Before using Auto Scale, turn on at least one channel and ensure a valid signal and trigger source is connected.
When the FlexDCA is in Run mode, follow the AUToscale
command with a *OPC?
query to halt program execution until the Auto Scale completes.
There is no equivalent horizontal scale only setting in FlexDCA's graphical user interface.
Requires FlexDCA revision A.06.80 and above.
