Command Syntax

:JSOurce:PATTern {PRBS7 | PRBS9 | PRBS11 | PRBS13 | SSPRq | CLOCk}

Query Syntax

:JSOurce:PATTern?

Description

Selects a Pattern for the M8000-series Source's output signal. The Source's output waveform must be set to DATA rather than a CLOCk (:JSOurce:WTYPe command). In addition, use the :JSOurce:SCRate command to set the System Clock Rate, which automatically sets the Symbol Rate. Symbol Rate is the Source's output to your DUT.

The following table lists the arguments for the :JSOurce:PATTern command.

PRBS7	27−1 pseudo-random symbol sequence (127 symbols).
PRBS9	29−1 pseudo-random symbol sequence (511 symbols).
PRBS11	211−1 pseudo-random symbol sequence (2,047 symbols).
PRBS13	213−1 pseudo-random symbol sequence (8,191 symbols).
SSPRq	Short Stress Pattern Random Quaternay PAM4 pattern (32,766 symbols).
CLOCk	Selects the system clock rate.
