:STATus:CLIPped:ENABle

Command Syntax

:STATus:CLIPped:ENABle <mask>

<mask> is an integer, 0 to 65535, representing a mask for the bits in the event register.

Query Syntax

:STATus:CLIPped:ENABle?

Description

Enters a decimal-weighted value in the enable register that masks the ability to report bits in the Clipped Register (see :STATus:CLIPped:EVENt?).

Sets to Bit 7 (CLIP) of Operation Status Register

When there is only one oscilloscope connection in the system and that oscilloscope has eight or fewer channels (that is, it needs only one bank), the Clipped Registers give you a shortcut to the Clipped All Connection 1 Bank 1 registers which have the same content but ultimately cascade to a different summary bit in the Operation Status Register.

Bit Definitions

CH1-CH8
A true indicates the channel has reported ADC clipping since the last time the register was read. If the oscilloscope has fewer than eight channels, only those bits are used.
