:STATus:OVERload:EVENt?

Query Syntax

:STATus:OVERload:EVENt?

Description

Reads the Overload register to see which channels that have reported overloads since the last time the register was read.

Reading the register once will clear the status for all channels.

Reporting of event register bits in the status register system is controlled by the mask loaded into the enable register. All true event bits, that are enabled, are logically "OR"ed, which results in setting true bit 12 (OVLR) of the Operation Status Register.

Sets to Bit 12 (OVLR) of Operation Status Register

When there is only one oscilloscope connection in the system and that oscilloscope has eight or fewer channels (that is, it needs only one bank), the Overload Registers give you a shortcut to the Overload All Connection 1 Bank 1 registers which have the same content but ultimately cascade to a different summary bit in the Operation Status Register.

Bit Definitions

CH1-CH8
A true indicates the channel has reported overloads since the last time the register was read. If the oscilloscope has fewer than eight channels, only those bits are used.
