Use the :SPRocess subsystem to configure a Waveform Signal Processing operator's unique attributes. Use the :FUNCtion subsystem to:

• Create a Waveform Signal Processing operator,
• Assign a function number for the operator,
• Specify input waveforms and tracking, and
• Apply output waveform colors and scaling.

The following figure shows a typical setup dialog for an operator.

Operators are identified by their function assignment number (1 through 64) which is included in the SPRocess{1:64} command. The following figure shows a Gaussian operator assigned to Function 1. Commands in this subsystem allow you to select the Gaussian operator's filter cutoff frequency. Before configuring an operator, assign the operator to a function using the :FUNCtion:FOPerator command in the :FUNCtion subsystem.

To create and configure a function:

1. Use the :FUNCtion:FOPerator command (:FUNCtion subsystem) to create the function.
2. Use the commands in the :SPRocess subsystem to configure your function.
