Command Syntax

:TRIGger:PLENgth <bits>

<bits> is an int.

Query Syntax

:TRIGger:PLENgth?

Description

Enters the length of the test pattern in symbols, which is used in pattern-lock trigger mode. You must first disable automatic pattern-length detection (:TRIGger:PLENgth:AUTodetect OFF) before manually entering the pattern length. The command query returns the pattern length setting in symbols regardless of whether automatic detection is on or off.

To set or query the pattern length on simulated channels, use the :SOURce:PLENgth command.

Example Command Sequence

:TRIGger:PLENgth:AUTodetect OFF
:TRIGger:PLENgth 128

Common Numerical Child Commands

This command supports the use of the following common numerical child commands: :DEFault, :MAXimum, :MINimum, and :STEP.
