P-Signal Result

The P-Max and P-Signal measurements provide additional insight into the Signal-to-Noise-and-Distortion Ratio (SNDR) measurement. P-Max and P-Signal use different methods to calculate the amplitude of the extracted linear pulse response. You can select the method that you want to use in Jitter Mode's Jitter Mode Measurement Setup dialog. Click on the dialog's Amplitude Measurements tab and select the Definition either to be P-Max or P-Signal.

Whenever you turn on the SNDR measurement, the P-Max (or P-Signal) measurement is automatically displayed as well as the Sigma-E (rms) measurement, and the Sigma-N (rms) measurement.
