Threshold Definition Commands

Command Syntax

:MEASure:THReshold:PAM{3|4}:GENeral:METHod  {P50 | HYSTeresis}

Query Syntax

:MEASure:THReshold:PAM{3|4}:GENeral:METHod?

Description

For the PAM General global threshold, this command selects the threshold method:

P50
Thresholds are set at the 50% locations between PAM levels. To specify the method of determining the PAM levels, use the :MEASure:THReshold:PAM:GENeral:LMEThod command.
HYSTeresis
Thresholds are specified using eye middle threshold values and a ±hysteresis value. To specify the eye middle threshold values, use the :MEASure:THReshold:PAM:GENeral:THResholds:EYE{N} command. To specify the hysteresis value, use the :MEASure:THReshold:PAM:GENeral:HYSTeresis command.
