:WMEMory Threshold Commands

Command Syntax

:WMEMoryN:TBASe:GENeral:METHod  {AUTO | ABSolute}

Where N identifies one of eight {1:8} possible waveform memories. For example, :WMEMory4.

Description

MEASUREMENTS AFFECTED

Infiniium uses the top and base levels to locate a waveform's lower, middle, and upper percent threshold levels during certain measurements.

For the indicated waveform memory, selects the method used to define the waveform top and base definitions. The command is equivalent to setting the signal's Top-Base Definition in the Thresholds > General tab of the Configure Measurements dialog box.

AUTO
Specifies that the top (100%) and base (0%) levels be automatically determined using a histogram of the signal's amplitude values. This is the default setting.
ABSolute
Allows you to enter absolute values for the top-base levels. When ABSolute is selected, use the :WMEMory:THReshold:GENeral:TOP and :WMEMory:THReshold:GENeral:BASE commands to enter the signal's top and base levels.
