Query Syntax

:ACQuire:RSPec?

Description

Selects the waveform record length to be based on Samples / Waveform, Samples / UI (Unit Interval), or Sample Period. For additional information, refer to TDR waveform acquisition and display.

RLENgth
Defines the record length as Samples / Waveform. Use the :ACQuire:RLENgth:MODE command to select automatic or manual mode. In manual mode, use ACQuire:RLENgth to enter the number of points. In Jitter Mode, the record length is set to Samples / Waveform and cannot be changed.
SPERiod
Defines the record length as Sample Period. Use the :ACQuire:SPERiod:MODE command to select automatic or manual mode. In manual mode, use ACQuire:SPERiod to enter the sample period. This is a TDR Mode only command that is only available when an active TDR step (calibrated) is displayed. This argument was introduced in FlexDCA revision A.07.80 and above.
SPUI
Defines the record length as Samples / UI. Use the :ACQuire:SPUI:MODE command to select automatic or manual mode. In manual mode, use ACQuire:SPUI to enter the number of points. This argument applies to FlexDCA revision A.05.60 and above.
SPBit (deprecated)
Defines the record length as samples-per-bit. Use :ACQuire:SPBit:MODE to set automatic or manual mode and, if manual is selected, use ACQuire:SPBit to enter the number of samples. When writing new programs, use the SPUI argument instead.

The record length definition is locked to samples-per-UI, if both pattern locking (:TRIGger:PLOCk) and acquire entire pattern (:ACQuire:EPATtern) is turned on.
