Query Syntax
:SYSTem:HAL?
Description
Queries the type of FlexDCA that is running. This indicates the state of FlexDCA's Hardware Abstaction Layer (HAL). The following strings can be returned by the query:
DCA86100- FlexDCA running on an 86100D (standard configuration).
DSCP- N1010A FlexDCA running on a PC. This string is also returned in the rare instance when FlexDCA is running on an 86100D that is in compatibility mode. Since FlexDCA on an 86100D is normally in standard mode and must be deliberately started in compatibility mode, you should seldom encounter this.
Removed. Support for compatibility mode was removed from FlexDCA with Firmware revision A.06.90 and above.
FEYE- FlexEye session instance in Eye/Mask mode's FlexEye Independent Eye Acquisition.
FEYE added in FlexDCA revision A.05.41 and above.
FRT- Flex Real Time session instance in FlexRT mode.
FRT added in FlexDCA revision A.06.70 and above.

Deprecated (Firmware revision A.01.80 and below). FlexDCA is in data simulation control state.
