Query Syntax

:WMEMory{1:8}:DSTatus:REASon?

Where the {1:8} specifier identifies one of eight possible waveform memories. For example, :WMEMory4.

Description

Returns a description of the status of the specified memory. If a waveform is currently in the specified memory location, the name of the source waveform will be returned. For example, "Source: Channel 1A". If the memory is empty, the string "Please select a file." is returned. If the file is corrupt or an incorrect type, the string "Unable to load file." is returned. To check the status of the memory, use the :WMEMory:DSTatus? parent query.
