:PROTocol Subsystem

Use the :PROTocols subsystem commands to configure up to four available protocol decodes. The four protocol decodes are identified by the {1:4} in the :PROTocol:PROTocol{1:4} commands. These command provide control for the equivalent features in the Protocol Decode dialog box. To save decoded data, use the :DISK Protocol Commands series of commands.

With a data signal, recovered clock, and specified type of protocol, the data can be displayed as packets, headers, fields, and payloads.
