Command Syntax

:MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:RINoise:TYPe {OLEVel | OMA}

Query Syntax

:MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:RINoise:TYPe?

Description

Configures the Relative Intensity Noise (RIN) measurement (:AMPLitude:RINoise) to be based on one of the following:

OLEVel
The one level.
OMA
The Optical Modulation Amplitude (OMA) measurement.

Additional definitions for the RIN measurement:

Amplitude analysis must be turned on before the first interference measurement can be made. Use the :MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:ANALysis command.
