Description

Configures the RIN measurement (:MEASure:AMPLitude:RINoise) to be based either on FlexDCA's Legacy algorithm or the IEEE 802.3 specification. Click here for the RIN equations. The result of the IEEE based measurement is approximately 6 dB greater than FlexDCA's legacy measurement. Legacy is the default selection.

Additional definitions for the RIN measurement:

:MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:RINoise:TYPe to base the measurement on the one level or an OMA measurement.
:MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:RINoise:UNITs to select the measurement units.

Amplitude analysis must be turned on before the first interference measurement can be made. Use the :MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:ANALysis command.
