Query Syntax

:CRECovery{1:8}:TDENsity?

Where the {1:8} specifier identifies a slot number which is associated with clock recovery module. On 86108A modules, specify slot 1.

<edge density>, a real number

Description

Returns the calculated edge density of the data signal. The edge density value is the ratio of symbol transitions to symbols and is returned as a number between zero and one. Changes in edge density can cause the module to lose lock. If the edge density value is invalid, the value 9.99999E+37 (NaN) is returned. With 86108A/B modules, specify slot 1.
