Files
With FlexDCA, you can save many different types of information as shown in the table in this topic. Click the links in the table to discover how to save or load specific types of data files. Files saved within FlexDCA are saved to a default subfolders that is located in the user data folder. The When FlexDCA is installed and embedded on the DCA-X, the default usere data folder is on the "D" partition. N1010A FlexDCA, DCA-X, and 86100D (with legacy user interface) use the same D:\User Files
folders to save user files. FlexDCA files can be identified by the letter "x" in the file name extension. FlexDCA does not support MATLAB measurements or scripts, so the MATLAB Measurements
and MATLAB Scripts
folders are not used.
Remember to always copy important settings and waveforms to an external memory device. If your original files are damaged or lost, you can restore the files from the backup.
Back up your user files to prevent accidental loss of important data.
DCA-X. Because the FlexDCA application and operating system are located on the C: drive, it is best to keep all of your files on the D: drive and avoid making modifications to the files or folders on the C: drive.
