Overview of Adjustments for RF Models

This section describes the available DUT signal generator adjustments for RF models listed above. Adjustments should not be used for calibration. Adjustments are designed to reset various circuit parameters. In addition, some of the tests reset or calculate correction values associated with some measurements. The software is designed to adjust the instrument operating within the temperature range defined by the instrument specifications.

Never perform adjustments as routine maintenance. Adjustments should be performed only after a repair or a performance test failure.

In all test equipment configurations, cables and adapters must be properly torqued. Exceeding recommended torque values can cause damage to a cable or adapter, and may cause inaccurate test results.

Recommended Adjustments Cycle
