Description

To View the Histograms

Viewing the histograms allows you to see the affects of your adjustments in real time.

  1. Turn on the TDECQ measurement.
  2. In the Results panel, select Annotations.

Sets the width of the two histograms that are used to configure an Eye mode PAM4 TDECQ measurement (:MEASure:EYE:TDEQ command). Adjust this setting when FlexDCA is not in pattern lock. It adjusts the histogram window so that additional data can be acquired to decrease the measurement time.

This command is equivalent to the Histogram Width setting which is located in the TDECQ Configuration tab of the PAM-N Analysis Setup dialog. To watch how the histograms change while you adjust this setting, display the histograms on the waveform.

The :MEASure:TDEQ:HWIDth command should always be followed with a *OPC? query for program timing.
