Command Syntax

:MEASure:JITTer:DEFine:EDGe {BEDGes | REDGe | FEDGe}

Query Syntax

:MEASure:JITTer:DEFine:EDGe?

Description

This Jitter mode command specifies the type of signal edges to include (and thereby exclude) from the jitter measurement algorithm.

BEDGes

Specifies both edges. This is the default setting for data signals.

REDGe

Specifies rising edges. This is the default setting for clock signals.

FEDGe

Specifies falling edges

Since the Aliased Spectrum graph can only be set to include rising or falling edges (but not both edges), if BEDGes is selected, the Aliased Spectrum graph defaults to using rising edges. The equivalent GUI setting is Show Results Based on these Edges in the Jitter Mode Measurement Setup dialog.

Common Parameter Child Commands

This command supports the use of the following common parameter child commands: :DEFault, :NEXT, :PREVious, and :VSET?.
