Command Syntax

Description

This command specifies the method used to separate any Bounded Uncorrelated Jitter (BUJ) from the Random Jitter (RJ) and any Bounded Uncorrelated Interference (BUI) from the Random Noise (RN). The three command arguments correspond to the three user-interface jitter-separation selections.

Use the :MEASure:JITTer:SMEThod? and :MEASure:AMPLitude:SMEThod? queries to determine the actual method used for the current data acquisition's Jitter or Amplitude values, respectively. When AUTO is selected, the method can vary on each data-acquisition cycle and the method used for Jitter data may be different from the method used for Interference data.
