Description

On PAM4 waveforms sets the amplitude level width that determines the size of the window that is used for calculating Eye Height, Vertical Eye Closure (VEC), Eye Linearity (CEI), and Minimum RMS location. The amplitude level width can be specified as a percentage of a UI (Unit Interval) or as the minimum resolution width window. This is corresponds to the Amplitude Level Width setting in the Jitter Mode Measurement Setup dialog.

MINimum
Specifies a minimum width window that is automatically be calculated.
PERCent (default setting)
Specifies the window's width based on a percentage of UI. Use the :MEASure:JITTer:DEFine:LWIDth:PERCent command to enter the desired percentage in terms of UI. Use the :MEASure:JITTer:DEFine:LWIDth:WINDow command to select the shape of the window: Boxcar or Guassian. If Gaussian is selected, specify the standard deviation (percent of UI) using the :MEASure:JITTer:DEFine:LWIDth:WINDow:GSDPercent command.

The query form of the command returns the current setting.
