Query Syntax
:EMODules:AWGenerator{1:8}:STATus:REASon?
Where {1:8} identifies slot number which is associated with an AWG instrument.
Description
Returns a string that explains why the AWG is not correctly setup for optimization. If the setup is correct, an empty string is returned. The following table lists the possible returned strings. Use the :EMODules:AWGenerator:OPTimization:STATus? parent query to return is the setup is valid or invalid.

| AWG Optimization feature is unlicensed. | AWG Optimization feature cannot be used without an L-RND license. |
| Module in slot is not AWG. | Install an AWG in this slot to perform optimization. |
| Must be in Basic mode. | Switch AWG Mode to Basic to perform AWG optimization. |
| No 'Data' channels turned on. | Turn on at least one AWG Data channel to perform AWG optimization. |
| Too few DCA channels installed. | There must be at least one DCA input channel installed per AWG Data output channel. |
