Command Syntax

:EMODules:AWGenerator{1:8}:SADDress "string"

Where {1:8} identifies slot number {1:8} which is associated with an AWG extended module.

Where "string" is the SICL address.

Query Syntax

:EMODules:AWGenerator{1:8}:SADDress?

Query Response

Returns the SICL address or an empty string if no address has been entered.

Description

Enter the SICL LAN interface address for an Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) extended module. In the command, be sure to include the FlexDCA slot number where the AWG is installed. The following table lists several examples of different SICL LAN interface addresses. Use the :EMODules:SLOT:ADDRess command to select to use the SICL interface. To enter a VISA address instead, use the :EMODules:AWGenerator:VADDress command.

Note: You can use localhost if FlexDCA is running on the AWG's AXIe Embedded Controller module.
