Where {1:8} identifies the slot number which is associated with an AWG instrument.
Query Response

- CORR
- The settings in the AWG's memory are correct and matches the setting shown in the AWG Setup dialog.
- INV
- The settings in the AWG Setup dialog are invalid and cannot be sent to the AWG's memory.
- QUES
- The settings in the AWG setup dialog have not been pushed to the AWG extended module. This can happen if the dialog's Auto Update setting is not selected (
:EMODules:AWGenerator:AUPDate
).
Description
Queries the status of the connection to an Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) extended module. Use the :EMODules:AWGenerator:STATus:REASon?
child query to determine the reason for an invalid or questionable connection. The AWG can become invalid in the following conditions:
- A corrupt or incompatible waveform file has been downloaded to the AWG. For example, the file's symbol rate is too high.
- The LAN connection to the AWG has failed.
Requires FlexDCA revision A.05.60 and above.
