Command Syntax

:TDR:STIMulus:CHANnel{N}:METHod {MMODe | TMODe}

{N} identifies a specific channel and must be selected from {1:8}{A|B|C|D}. For example, 2A. For differential channels, the alpha portion of the identifier to select from is {A|C}. For example, 1A but not 1B.

Query Syntax

:TDR:STIMulus:CHANnel{N}:METHod?

Description

Selects the method used to determine T-domain and S-parameters for differential DUTs:

MMODe
Mixed mode, also known as superposition, is used. Differential TDR responses are measured by internally setting both TDR steps to positive polarity and mathematically converting the response as if the step on the (–) port was negative. This allows all other parameters to be mathematically determined. This is the default method.
TMODe
True mode is used. Differential TDR responses are measured with TDR steps of opposite polarity.

Requires FlexDCA revision A.04.00 and above.
